Part-time job – 15-25 hrs. a week ~$11.00/hr (to start/while training), pay commensurate with experience.

Hanover Humane Society is looking for a Part-Time Kennel Technician. Candidate should be kind and understanding towards pets, owners, and co-workers. Candidate is responsible for feeding, medicating, and maintaining sanitary conditions for our boarding dogs and dogs for adoption.

REQUIREMENTS: Lots of bending, stooping. Extended periods of standing/walking. osition involves exposure to feces, urine, dander/hair, cleaning chemicals. Must be comfortable handling all sizes/types of dogs (up to 150lbs. +), and aggressive dogs. Must be able to lift 50lbs. without assistance. Must be able to work AM shifts(7am – 12pm), PM shifts(3pm-8pm), AND weekends/holidays. The boarding kennel is busiest on weekends and holidays – if you can’t, or will not, work on weekends and holidays…please, do not apply!
