While most people find puppies and kittens cute, dropping off an unwanted litter at a shelter, or somewhere else, isn’t. The Hanover Humane Society promotes responsible pet ownership through its SNIP (Spaying/Neutering is Progress) program. All pets adopted through the shelter are spayed or neutered before they go home, and pet owners who have dogs or cats that need to be SNIPped can take advantage of the availability of these low-cost services.
